Hope “Thunderbolt” Mizzell has first place all to herself this week, putting all 3 drivers in the top 5. The usual suspects round out the top 5, and the battle for the last playoff spots heats up! Will “The Sleeper” McNelis holds on to 1st, but “NoBadGas” Altizer, “I’m Watching You” Hiner, and “Colesy” Cole are hot on his heels.
The drivers love the new surface, the fans love the old cars. They still manage to pack 160,000 people into the loudest couple of acres in Tennessee. Check out all the action at NASCAR.com

Will “The Sleeper” McNelis seems to be picking up where Jake left off last session. He tops the leaderboard this week, along with Sonya “QOS” Spahr and Jill & Dave on “Shibumi”. He also takes over the top of the session standings, and with 6 of the top 10 not yet “in the show” it promises to be an interesting run to the playoffs.
The race was run on a tuesday in front of a motley crew of die-hard fans. Some in the infield tried to leave but their vehicles were stuck in the mud! Kurt Busch won, and Dale Jr. lost more ground in the Chase. Get the full story at NASCAR.com

Big points this week – Sue & Peter tie with Scott Altizer each garnering 60 points! “The Trekkers” lead the session, and the entire top of the leaderboard seems a little different now… Maybe I’m just surprised that we’ve gone TWO WHOLE WEEKS without a win by JBA All The Way!

Kurt Busch wins the race by a country mile, and Robby Gordon does synchronized victory burnouts with Kevin Harvick at the Busch race…
Will “The Sleeper” McNelis, Bob & Joyce “Sandcastle” Jones, and Ryan “Colesy” Cole start session 3 off with a 45 point bang. Seven other drivers tied behind them at 40 points.
Robby Gordon takes the heat off Tony Stewart this week with a (some say justified) tantrum during the Busch race. It’s worth taking a look at the video replay of the hijinks. Full results and standings of this weeks Cup race are available at NASCAR.com
