Don’t Run Out of Gas on the Interstate!

First - a big THANK YOU to all of you who serve our country in uniform. You’re always in our thoughts and prayers, but “Memorial Day” brings it home.

This week six players tied with 30 points for the race: “Bumper” Bill (he bumped the Mayor’s car), Ronie (”I’m Watchin You” - tax season is over) , West Coast “Trekkers” Sue and Peter, Hope “Thunder-Storm” Mizzel and Walt “Baby Love” all gained 30 points in session two.

Bob and Joyce “Sandcastle” Jones hold the lead in session 2 (2 of 10 races complete) with 80 points with Jake “JBA All the Way” Altizer and West Coast “Trekkers” Sue and Peter tied for second at 75 points.

2007 Charlotte Spring

All the big names chickened out with 5 laps to go and stopped for a 1-2 second splash of gas to finish the last 5 laps … and they got BEAT by five unknown cars that took the chance … The winner, Casey Mears coasted to the winner’s circle after crossing the finish line.
