Husband and wife tie for the win in the Auto Club 500

Kevin Harvick’s flat tire with 5 laps to go opened the door for Matt Kenseth to take the trip to the Victory Lane. Toyota also got their first top 10 as Brian Vickers brought the Red Bull Camry home in 10th. See the complete results at NASCAR.com.

Combat Carl and Clutch Strickland hit it big with 50 points in the California race, each putting all 3 drivers in the top 5. We had 5 other teams tied for 3rd with 40 points, shaking up the standings a little.

Carrie “The Destroyer” Spahr takes the 2007 Daytona 500

The “big one” didn’t happen until lap 202, and most weren’t as lucky as Clint Bowyer – finishing 18th upside down and on fire. To top it all off, the official race results at NASCAR.com list him as “running” when he finished the race :)

Carrie tops us all with Kevin Harvick as her #1 and Jeff Gordon as #2 plus an “in-order” finish earning her a total of 40 points. Rhett “Slim” Doniphan is close behind with 35 picking up points from Harvick’s win and Kasey Kahne’s 3rd place finish.

Since this is the first points race of the year, she and Rhett lead the session, with 4 others tied for 3rd.
